:60 Second Sermon May 17
It’s time for a spiritual check-up. When we abide in God and God in us, His love becomes perfected in us. That means God’s love becomes more evident on the outside to those we encounter. According to God’s word, we cannot love God whom we have not seen and hate our fellow mankind, whom we have seen. You see abiding in God leads us to follow His commandments…Remember…This is my commandment that you love one another?…God’s love makes us more patient, kind, and gentle. It means that instead of hatred or anger, we express understanding, compassion, and prayer for those who sometimes least deserve our love. I know how hard that can be, but God’s love directs us and strengthens us when it comes to the difficult things. Today let me encourage you to draw on the strength of God’s love…to show HIS love…and watch how you change the world around you for the better and blossom and grow in Christ.
