:60 Second Sermon Feb. 9
Does the world around you appear to be out of control with people who don’t seem to care? And more specifically…don’t seem to care about how their actions affect you? If that sounds like your experience then you’ll want to pay attention to this Sixty Second Sermon because there is a lot of truth in being the change you want to see. As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, Colossians 3:12, tells us to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. That means instead of getting angry and fighting with those who don’t profess to know God personally, we are to remember that we represent God, and that we may be the only encounter with God that person may have. That said, we are to think…according to the popular acronym…WWJD. If in the midst of the storm, we need to ask God for His peace to make it through and still be right on the other side. This week when the enemy throws you curves that tempt you to anger, remember Colossians 3:12 and watch how your kindness will change the world around you.
