Feel Good Word of the Week Oct. 27

Anyone feeling overwhelmed today? Keep reading if you can relate. In a world filled with stress, depressing circumstances, anxiety, and things spinning faster than we can comprehend, we have to find a way to stop the madness even for just a moment in time. Some of us are so busy taking care of everyone else that we don’t take any time to take care of ourselves. I’m not saying we have to be selfish and forget about others. Just that we have to find the time to take care of ourselves because who’s going to do the work you’re doing if you can’t do it because you neglected to keep yourself well mentally, physically, and spiritually. Do this Feel Good Word of the Week on the regular and you’ll be renewed spiritually (take time to pray), mentally (take time to meditate…pray)…what I’m trying to say is that it all starts with you taking the time to pray and then make a point of spending time in something that brings you joy.

RELAX: Make or become less tense or anxious.
