Compared to 2017, homicides in St. Louis County are down by less than 15. So far in 2018, there have been 42 homicides in the area. Chief Belmar says

“People are willing to shoot each other…”

As of Fox2Now’s Elliot Davis reported, violent areas will now be assigned more officers to deal with the crime.

One of the biggest issues is plaguing the community is the gang violence in which Blacks are killing Blacks over drugs, disputes, and territory.
