Taylen is as 37 year old business woman. In comparison to other family members, she is financially strong. The problem is that her family tends to treat her like an ATM. She feels like she’s always doing for others, even to the point of ignoring her own needs. She says her relatives, including her mom, only call when they need something. She has attempted to cut off some family, but says she always gives in to the needs of the family. She says she’s tired and becoming financially drained. She loves her family but says it might be best if she totally distances herself from them. What advice would you offer to Taylen to deal with her needy relatives?
