Sixty Second Sermon-Find Help in the Good Book
Sunday September 30, 2018
Do you know the importance of spending time in the Word of God? After all, when you read it and understand it, it changes you for the better on the inside, and also on the outside. When you want to know about history…you read History books or fashion, you read fashion books, or even gossip, you read gossip books. It only makes sense then that if you want to be a better person, you read the Be a Better Person Book. When you read the Good Book, you experience change on the inside that directs change on the outside. Therefore, your speech is different and you treat others better. Not to mention when we read the Word, we’re reminded that we will never be alone, that He’s got our back, and that we are loved even with all our flaws. We learn what to do and how to deal with others. We’re reminded that we are to pray for those difficult people instead of paying them back in like kind. Just know there’s power and strength there to carry you through…you just have to put it in you by reading and letting it live in you. So, this week, if your life starts feeling out of control…calm it by opening up the instruction book and find peace and the tools you need to deal with anything that comes your way.
