Sad news for St. Louis favorite, superstar Tina Turner. Tina’s oldest son, Craig Raymond Turner, has died in an apparent suicide. He was 59. He was found early Tuesday afternoon at his home in California with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Craig was born when Tina was 18 years old and before she married East St. Louis native Ike Turner. Once Tina and Ike wed, Ike adopted Craig. His biological father was a saxophonist named Raymond Hill, who performed with Ike’s band, The Kings of Rhythm:

Before his death, Craig worked as a real estate agent in the San Fernando Valley. According to his Rodeo Realty profile, Craig was a member of elite realtor organization the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors.

He is survived by his father, his mother, and his biological half-brother, Ronnie. No word on if a suicide note was left and no word yet from Tina.  Sending Tina and family our deepest condolences
