Black Panther continues to break records, recently crossing the $1 billion mark in worldwide sales!!!!!

Marvel studio is confirming that a sequel is definitely on-track to happen.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed to Entertainment Weekly this past Friday that part 2 is GOING DOWN.
While he did say that he also said that there’s nothing concrete to share just yet on the project.

“Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that,” he said. “One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.”

Black Panther has earned more than $500 million, domestically, thus far, putting it in the top 10 of the highest grossing films of all time. On the worldwide front, it has officially surpassed the $1 billion mark after making $48.2 million over the course of its first two days screening in China. The film stands as the 33rd movie in history to achieve this feat.

Can’t wait to see T’Challa and the crew in a few more years no worries.
