After Opening Church, Joel Osteen Responds To Backlash [EXCLUSIVE]


When Hurricane Harvey was set to hit Houston, nobody, not even science and weather experts, predicted how catastrophic it would be. But as thousands were quickly displaced and rescued, they filled up shelters all over the city. So when Joel Osteen‘s 16,000-seat Lakewood church wasn’t one of those shelters initially, outraged people called out Osteen, calling him a hypocrite who doesn’t practice what he literally preaches to the huge congregation he presides over.
