Why Monie Love’s “Matchmaker” Episode Was The Only One That Made Maxwell Billieon Cry [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]

Maxwell Billieon of WeTV’s “Million Dollar Matchmaker” came through to the “Ed Lover Show!” He talked about crying on the show during Monie Love‘s episode, which is the only episode he cried on. Monie opens up about some of the personal struggles she and Max dealt with on the her episode, and recalls the times her longtime friend and collaborator Ed Lover would witness her coming into work with bruises on.

He talks about the changes the show has gone through since its move from its initially spot on Bravo; especially the fact that there weren’t many black folks on it then. This season, he says, there are a lot more black people getting matched, which also allows the show to tackle the relationship challenges that black people in particular face culturally. Maxwell also laughs about being the best dressed cast member on the show.
