Veronica and Lauren met 5 years ago. They both love the arts and began organizing group trips to different festivals. Last year Veronica paid for Lauren’s ticket to a festival in Atlanta but Lauren hasn’t paid her back after saying she would. Veronica noticed Lauren stopped calling but 2 weeks ago out of the blue Lauren texted Veronica, apologizing for not paying her back and asking if she wants to go a festival in Chicago.
Veronica thinks if Lauren has money for a trip to Chicago she could have paid her back the $350 from last year. Veronica wants to go but wonders if she should hang out with someone who suddenly stopped communicating after money was lent. What’s your advice for Veronica?
