These stories really make me sad. A standout contestant on “America’s Got Talent” has died just weeks before his episode was scheduled to air. Dr. Brandon Rogers, who was known online as “The singing doctor” died after a car crash this weekend. Rogers was a contestant on America’s Got Talent, but his episode wasn’t slated to air for several more weeks on the NBC show. He was already an internet sensation online, though.
So handsome, smart and talented….to have his life cut so tragically short. He was only 29 years old. He was a doctor also.
Brandon was a fantastic singer who was discovered by ‘AGT’ producers who saw him on Instagram covering Boyz II Men’s hit song, “On Bended Knee.” The band even shouted him out on social media, asking fans if they thought they should bring him on tour with them. And they let him share the stage with them in Las Vegas
According to the Maryland State Troopers, officers responded around 4:30 AM Saturday for a car that had crashed into a tree. Brandon was one of 2 passengers in the vehicle, plus the driver.
Cops say the driver walked away unscathed, but both passengers were hospitalized. Brandon died Sunday from his injuries. Cops say they’re investigating the circumstances of the crash, but we’re told drugs and alcohol were not involved.
AGT has not decided to air Brandon’s segment or not but his family wants them too. I really hope they do.
Here are his loving parents, married for 32 years…my heart goes out to them both:
They say the good die young…how sad but true. Rest In Heaven Bradom…you singing with the angels now.
