Kellyanne Conway has literally apologized for something every week since she began her tenure as President Trump‘s senior advisor.

On Tuesday night’s episode of conservative host Lou Dobbs‘ show, Conway offered an explainer on  why she sat with her feet in the couch during a meeting between Trump and HBCU leaders.

“I was being asked to take a picture in a crowded room with the press behind us,” she said. “I was asked to take a certain angle and was doing exactly that. I certainly meant no disrespect, I didn’t mean to have my feet on the couch.”

But she then pivoted to blame an unnamed reporter for the barrage of attacks she received online, while also calling the criticism “venomous” and “vicious.”

“This came from a journalist that is not happy that Donald Trump is the President,” Conway said during the interview. “But I just want people to focus on the great work of the HBCU presidents and how honored we were to have them here.”

Ok girl.

All we ask is that next time, don’t put your feet on the couch!

The Internet Lost Its Collective Mind Over White House Couch Photo Of Kellyanne Conway

Out of all the optics released from yesterday’s meeting between President Donald Trump and over 100 leaders of the nation’s historically black colleges and universities, there’s one that will never be forgotten.

The Trump administration called the meeting to discuss federal aid, student enrollment and corporate business opportunities, but the photo of Kellyanne Conway sitting with her feet on the oval office couch dominated the conversation on social media.

Folks wanted answers to one question: Why is she sitting on the oval office couch like that?

The conversations ranged from discussions about decorum to gender politics, while others thought it was much to do about nothing.
