Luke and Tonya met 3 weeks ago at a bar in their neighborhood. They talked all night and agreed to hang out at the same bar for more conversation the following week. After their 2^nd meeting, Luke knew Tonya was into him so he asked her out on a lunch date and she agreed. When he asked if she’d be available on Saturday, she said she couldn’t make it because she had to keep her 7 year old son.

Luke was taken aback because at no time in their past 2 conversations did Tonya mention she was a mother. Luke is wondering if it is a red-flag when a woman doesn’t immediately let a guy know she has kids. Should being a mother be one of the first things a woman tells a man she is interested in?
