With production underway for Tupac’s biopic “All Eyez On Me” Finally in production, details have surfaced little by little on the film and the people that are in it. The actor who’ll take on the role of the late rapper has been revealed as Demetrius Shipp Jr. Shipp was asked by producer L.T. Hutton to take on the role because of his similar features. TMZ reports that Shipp’s father also met the legendary artist during his career in the music industry. This will be Shipp’s first major acting job, and he’ll appear alongside Jamal Woodard, the same person who played Biggie in the biopic Notorious in 2009.

This movie has been a controversial topic due to the fact it will highlight Tupac’s road to being your favorite artist’s favorite artist to his 1996 death in Las Vegas. There’s no release date just yet on the film but I hope they get it right
