The parents of NASCAR driver Kevin Ward have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Tony Stewart. Ward was killed when Stewart’s vehicle struck him during a race in August 2014. A Texas judge handed down a weird ultimatum to a Texas man: spend fifteen days in jail, or get married. After punching his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, Josten Bundy was charged with misdemeanor assault. Fearing he could lose his job if he went to jail, Bundy chose to tie the knot with his 19-year old girlfriend, Elizabeth Jaynes. Understandably, Jayne’s father is pissed. The University of Minnesota’s athletic director has resigned amid disturbing allegations from two of his colleagues. The women allege that Norwood Teague groped them and sent them lewd and graphic text messages during a gathering. Teague has apologized for his actions and will seek help for an alcohol problem. [AP]
Rumors are swirling around Birdman‘s involvement in Lil Wayne‘s tour bus shooting, and now TMZ is reporting that Birdman is speaking out against them, saying: “No legal battle would ever make me try and kill or hurt my son.” [TMZ]
