06/13/14 – Roland Martin talks to film director Spike Lee about the life of the legendary movie legend, Ruby Dee. The two first worked together on Lee’s ‘Do The Right Thing’.
“I often think of her and Ossie as one. They were black royalty. I thought of her as my spiritual artisic mother. She was a true legend,” Lee said.
