The custody battle between R&B superstar Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster has finally come to a close. After months of mudslinging and name calling, Usher was awarded primary custody of his two sons.

Foster and Raymond had both been trying to snatch custody of the children from the other. The pair claimed each was a worse parent than the other. Usher alleged Tameka Foster was negligent when it came to parenting. Foster countered, saying she believed Usher was too focused on his career to be a full-time father to the boys. Foster went on to tell the court he constantly used drugs in front of their children. With all of the mudslinging going on, both parties broke down crying during the court battle.

Usher was found to be the fittest parent out of the two and was awarded custody. The boys will be living with Raymond and spending the majority of their time in his care. Foster still has custodial rights to her sons, but the exact degree of rights she has wasn’t defined clearly in the ruling set forth today.
